Chinese angelica, or dong quai, is traditionally used to support women's health, particularly during perimenopause and menopause.
Given its Far Eastern origins, Chinese angelica has been used for millennia in China, Korea, and Japan. Used as a spice in cooking, it is also recognized as a beneficial plant, especially for women. Traditional Chinese medicine considers it an excellent tonic for women.
This plant is rich in phenolic compounds, including coumarins, flavonoids, and vitamins A and E.
